I just got back to the office today after a week in Destin FL with my daughter Joy and granddaughter Kate. It was a time of relaxing, hanging out at the beach and lots of good food. There is something about being at the ocean that is calming, relaxing and good for the spirit. It certainly makes the long drive worth it. Funny thing happened, I stopped at Durbin Farms in Alabama, a great place to get fresh produce and peaches. I went into the cafe and heard someone call my name. I turned around and there was one of my church friends and her sister. They were going to Pensacola and they invited me to have lunch with them. That was a nice treat and quite unexpected. It really is a small world.
Coming back to work this morning was not too bad. I had worked a couple of hours on Sunday so that I would not be absolutely slammed when I got to work this morning. It is always good to see my work family. I miss them when I am gone.
