Gone are the days when all that graphic designers did was design brochures, catalogs and other print collateral. Sure they still do that now, but they do so much more. They actually are the control center for several pieces of production machinery. When a job comes in a job ticket is written up and that job ticket number is the tracking source through every department. It first goes to a production computer and if printing plates are needed, it is already programmed by the graphic department so that they just pull up the job ticket number and make the plates. The programming is done also for the digital press and even the paper cutter. I may have mentioned this before, but I love technology.
I am President/Owner of Burns Mailing & Printing, Inc. My late husband, Ken Burns founded our business in 1981. I joined him in 1990. We started out as a printing only company and added mailing and graphic design in 1991. It enabled us to offer graphic design, printing and mailing at one location. We are pleased to announce that in 2019 we have added promotional products as well. We are now truly a one stop convenience for all of these services.
We are 100% women owned and are certified by the State of TN as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE).
My business is my passion and I love to travel and spend time with my family.
