Today as I was on my way to the bank, I saw a truck rear end an older gentleman’s car. The young man got out, checked to see if whatever he had in the back of his truck was OK and then jumped back in the truck and drove off. The light changed just as I was turning and I was right behind him. I was able to give the dispatcher his license tag number and the direction he was heading. When I related this to one of my employees, she commented that I might have to testify in court. I told that was OK, although it would not be pleasant, but it was the right thing to do. If we don’t get involved and cooperate with the police then we are part of the problem.
