Today as I was on my way to the bank, I saw a truck rear end an older gentleman’s car. The young man got out, checked to see if whatever he had in the back of his truck was OK and then jumped back in the truck and drove off. The light changed just as I was turning and I was right behind him. I was able to give the dispatcher his license tag number and the direction he was heading. When I related this to one of my employees, she commented that I might have to testify in court. I told that was OK, although it would not be pleasant, but it was the right thing to do. If we don’t get involved and cooperate with the police then we are part of the problem.

I am President/Owner of Burns Mailing & Printing, Inc. My late husband, Ken and I started the company in our garage in 1981 We started out as a printing only company and added mailing and graphic design in 1991. It is a niche that works well for us as it enables us to offer graphic design, printing and mailing at one location. We are 100% women owned and are certified by the State of TN as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE). I like to travel, cook, try to grow roses and spend time with my grandchildren.
